Dodger Beating Suspect Exonerated

Giovanni Ramirez, suspect in the opening day beating of Bryan Stow was exonerated today when the LAPD arrested 2 different suspects not associated with Ramirez according to www.latimes.com. Ramirez has been the main suspect in the beating and subject to frequent verbal attacks in the media by LAPD Chief Charlie Beck. It will be interesting to see if and what lawsuits may arise because of the public humiliation despite his innocence due to the public war the LAPD waged against him. P.S. A good example of OM not being real; you believe that in order for one to value life, there must be some objective value that is inherent to life, for us to hold in the first place. This is not true; something does not have to be valuable in an objective sense in order for us to value it; it is our state of being that gives this object value; because value is subjective by its nature. To claim that life is inherently valuable in an objective sense is a bit like saying Bad Religion is a preferable band, in an objective sense (although quite a bit more serious). Something cannot be valuable in and of itself; it only has what value we ascribe to it.
